Hello Friends,
Well, it’s almost that time again. Soon I will venture off to see more of the world, and meet family and old friends along the way. In the spring I will make my way to the Caribbean to see my sister, who is serving as a Peace Corps volunteer in Jamaica, then begin a lengthy journey from Mexico to the southern tip of South America. Along the way I will also meet up with good friends in Honduras where I spent time as a Peace Corps volunteer.
It’s been a little more than a year since I have returned to Tucson from my trip across Europe. The past year has had its challenges, but overall life is grand and I’m excited for the next adventure. When I returned to Tucson I had the good fortune of being rehired at my old company, since then I have been working hard and diligently saving for the next trip. Thankfully my company has been very flexible and encouraging towards my goals, and they have kept the door open for me should I make it back to Tucson after the next journey.
I envision this trip being a little different – a little slower, a little more open. Just as exciting, but maybe digging deeper in one place or another. Really I have no set plans, and that is one of the most exciting feelings in the world. I’m not quite sure how things will go, but I know that it will all work out and you can be sure that I will keep you posted and take plenty of photos along the way.
Last trip I really enjoyed the photography and I have included the 100 best photos of my trip (that I didn’t lose). I hope you enjoy them and look forward to many more in the coming year. Also if you have any suggestions for places or people to visit within Latin America please feel free to let me know. I’m looking forward to meeting all kinds of great people along the way.
Enjoy the photos…

How can this be the 100 best without any depravity brothers in it, even if it is just a tump.

Bernardo,
Wow great photography amigo. Have a blast in Centro America.
Bernie, we loved looking at your photos--great, you have an eye for the interesting photo! As a history buff, I especially enjoyed the ones from the beaches of Normandy. Steve and I were talking about the history of the invasion tonight. As I recall, 6,000,000 men - an unbelievable undertaking.
Stay safe and healthy; we look forward to seeing you when you return!
Things are normal here for Tucson in the summer. I leave tomorrow for a week in Iowa to pick up my Mom (at my sister's). It's in the 80's there, lots of humidity and rain!! Makes the DRY heat of the desert sound great!
